On 14-15 Juni 2010 MigAA-Deutschkreis staged a semi-spontaneous post-Royan re-union.

In tune with MigAA’s spirit and as part of Lab.D’s (labd.khm.de) series of workshops on socially embedded playable systems and with the creative guidance by Tom Russotti (www.aesthletics.org), MigAA-DE group held a “walk out and play” action in Cologne. Driven by passion to ignite public spaces and turn them into vibrant creative and open context, for two days we developed scenarios of engagement and conducted number of performative collective acts in the outdoor public setting.

I join the team today, Sunday night, in Cologne after a barbecue at Gabriel’s place. Six arrive at the airport; two of them, Dainius and Ieva, are sleeping in a Media RV already. They say they have been in the forest and were running among tall trees under the sky, somewhere on their way to Cologne, which they reached very quickly and unexpectedly (both for them and Gabriel). They say they were flying not driving, a few thousand kilometers per day. Then finally the party was very good, but now they feel slightly stuffed with food. Night talks in the kitchen.

In the morning Domas gets lost in the city while we are having breakfast and all kind of preparations. It seems that we don’t need to rush; we are on time always and forever.
